Sports Performance Program

Based on our vision to offer the most comprehensive player development environment in Central Virginia, Richmond United's 10 month season includes a soccer specific Sports Performance program for the U15-U19 age groups during the transition period (December-February).

Under the supervision of Bon Secours' Sports Performance program, the soccer performance program is developed to decrease injury potential and improve performance metrics that enhance an athlete’s capabilities on the field. The state-of-the-art facilities at the Bon Secours Washington Redskins Training Center are equipped with industry leading equipment to provide athletes with an efficient pathway to improve their performance. Beginning with an in depth evaluation, we screen each athlete for movement deficiencies, analyze body composition and obtain accurate performance metrics. Utilizing results-based techniques, we can train athletes on a multitude of facets in human performance in which to maintain their strength, power and speed throughout the entire season.
